HDV export out of sync

If you transcode that HDV to ProRes during capture, then edit it as ProRes, or render it to ProRes once it’s captured (you do this by setting the HDV sequence to be rendered to ProRes – setting for this is found in that sequence’s settings). You’ll find the exports work much better.

And what if I have to give the file as HDV only?

The latest versions of Quicktime playback ProRes without FCP installed.

Why would have you to do that Pradip? There are actually very, very few, if any, good reasons imaginable for delivering back to anyone as HDV.

Among professionals, HDV is widely accepted as a shooting codec, but not as an editing or delivery codec. Keep in mind, you lose a generation and hammer your graphics and text with an extra compression step when outputting HDV to back to tape.
