HDV export from Express HD
Trying to export HDV from timeline. Does not fill the screen, but ends up on tape as a smaller 16:9 rectangle inside the black of the full wide screen on the Z1-U and FX-1 camcorder deck. How do I fix that? Still learning HDV tricks.

What is the sequence setting and record format yhou’re working with? Match what was shot with the “easy setup” for it found in the FCP menu.
You can’t transcode HDV without some hardware added, and it sounds like you’re not matching capture and sequence settings. The easy setup will fix that.
