Please oh please tell me what HDV deck has HD-Component Inputs. I know of only one HDV VTR (Sony HVR1500) that has component input, but that’s only for an SD feed. It does not take in HD, at least according to Sony’s specs.
Have been waiting for an HDV deck that has HD-Component Inputs….so if you know of one, please let me know!

Not offhand, I thought Sony had one but didn’t realize it was SD input only. As I don’t ever master back to HDV, I haven’t really paid a whole lot of attention to that. Sorry about that.

September 5, 2007 at 7:28 amexactly what is this encoder, xdr i assume is name but what does flash drive recover mean, i assume a flash drive is just that so how does that work. Sorry im a newbie with the tech terms, but i shoot a lot of hdv so this sounds really appealing to me.
