HDV Digitizing
Can anyone tell me how to stop HDV logs from separating into small clips when digitizing. I’ve turned off the”Create new clip on start/stop” off in clip settings but it still continues to do it. It’s infuriating.

That’s funny. Last week I was trying to get FCP to split my HDV capture into segments, and it refused to do it. Verified all settings were correct and restarted and it didn’t fix it. I would try trashing preferences. I would have tried that but didn’t have time to mess with it.

Do you have timecode or corruption issues on the tape? That can cause it to still break up clips.
Are you capturing to HDV, or transcoding it to something like Apple Intermediate or ProRes?
