    Hello,
    I am buying a camera HDV HVR-Z1N/Z1P weather it is compatible with FCP 4.5

    Also Keen to know weather this camera is recording in MPEG-2 then we can grab it in FCP and palyback and edit.

    FCP 4.5 can’t capture HDV and edit with it… but with a plugin from Lumeire you can edit captured footage with 4.5.. however you’d be miles ahead upgrading to FCP5 to work with HDV I’d think.
