HDV Capture–what am I doing wrong?

If you use the scene detection, your captures
will be captured in separate segments (according
to when you stop and start recording)
So like how you prefer one continuous file, dont use
that option.

Steve, I downloaded HDVSplit. It said the audio is turned off, and I should download and configure ffdshow. I downloaded it, but I am not sure how to configure. Any suggestions? Jim

Try working with CapDVHS first.
