    My computer is as follows:

I’m having a problem importing 1080 59.9 on the following computer:

Fujitsu LifeBook A6030, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7100 @1.80Ghz, 1.99 Gig Ram,
outboard sound card Creative 0202 USB with EMU software

I’m inputing from a Sony Z1 with HDV at 60i.

    I’m running Avid 5.7.5

SD captures fine. Just this problem. What happens is that I have my settings correct for my Avid project, set to 1080 59.9. My camera is also set to HDV. When I try to capture at first it says “no input signal” (my computer is recognizing my Sony Z1 in it’s system file). Next I experiment by closing my monitor (take up less CPU resources) and then things improve a little. I’m able to hit the video button but when I hit the audio button, I get “DIO Producer Canot Arm INput Divice” I’m starting to get scared my trusty laptop (which is new) isn’t fast enough although it fits avids specifications although it’s not listed. That’s not new for me as I run Avid (for SD projects) off several computers not Avid endorsed.

I’m having the same problem. Not for sure what to do yet. I’m still searching. I’m going through firewire from a sony HD handycam.

I’ll let you know if I figure anything out.
