    Hi,

When I capture in HD, FCP captures separate clips for everytime I had pressed record and standby. My project is now in 76 separate clips!??!? Can anyone shed light on this? I cant find the settings anywhere?!!?

    Cheers, Dani

In the HDV capture windows in the clip setting tab there is the option to create new clips on camera start/stop. It’s not an option on the SD capture function.

Your welcome. I actually like that function, especially for documentary work where I capture long sections of tape. It helps avoid the lengthy process of subclipping and lets me trash any false starts or useless shots. I hope Apple will add it to the SD capture in the next version.
