  HDV Capture issues

  I’m using the Sony Z1 and V1, can control the camera and capture in ‘Capture Now’ but when I log and Batch Capture it only captures 2 frames of the logged clip (I’ve tried anything from 20-40 second clips) and FCP thinks it’s done the job right.

  I’ve changed tapes, cameras, re-booted etc. I have had similar problems before and a re-boot has sorted it but not today.

  Running 2.5 Quad G5 PowerPC, 4GB RAM, Fiber Chanel to 7TB XRAID
