HDV Capture in Premiere Pro 1.5
I’m trying to capture HD video from a Sony HVR-Z1U, using the HD plug-in for the older version of Premiere Pro 1.5. Every time I capture the video plays back like the messed-up parts of “Cloverfield,” (electronic and pixilly) cool effect, maybe I’ll use it later, but not while capturing. The video plays fine in the camera, so the tape isn’t jacked, and I’ve tried capturing it several times, so it wasn’t the origional capture problem. So now I’m stuck, I’d love some help is anyone has some ideas.

I was never able to capture in 1.5 without problems due to a weak PC. So I got Cineform Aspect HD and I have never had a problem since.
The PC is trying to capture and convert to Cineform all at one time and has trouble.
