HDV capture –
This is my first time on an HDV project and I have a rented M25U HDV deck and my G5 Dual2G. I am using easy setup HDV 1080i60 and am connected via firewire. I have deck control but no picture and when I make a clip and capture it captures black.
It seems that this is a commen problem but I still cannot pinpoint the issue in my particular case. I have the settings on the deck set at 1080i60 and HDV and ilink off. Something else fishy is that the TC on th

Are you sure the recording is 1080i60? Might try trashing your prefs and using the easy setup for HDV 1080i… Post which camera shot it, and could you get that camera to capture with?
