I’m interested in using HDV camcorders (canon xha1, sony fx1 etc.) with ATEM switchers. As i know ATEM already suport SD, so with 720 x 576/50i resolution I shouldt have any problems, right?

What about 1440 x 1080/50i? Would ATEM recognize this as 1080i50? If conecting XHA1 to ATEM via BM analog(component)->SDI maybe it would be up-converted to full HD and ATEM recognize this as 1080i50?:)

Not entirely sure in your case, but you would probably need an UpDownCross after the analog->SDI converter in order to get things to the right format. I don’t have an HDV camera, all of mine are straight 1080i, so I can’t tell you with certainty.

There are many threads about XHA1-component and possibility to output 1920×1080, but as I understood it just upscale 1440×1080. I was wondering maybe converter upscale signal as well?

I think the XHA1 will output FullHD on the analog output connection and not 1440×1080. It means that your camery will automatic upconvert from HDV to FullHD

Thanks. As I thought:) Probably same with all HDV camcorders like fx1?

One more big advantage for ATEM!
