If you have the drive space I’d recommend transcoding your sequence or your clips to DNxHD using the consolidate/transcode from the menu.
You can then export those clips/sequences as QT reference files or QT “same as source” movies (make sure to check the 601/709 button) to import into AE. Keep in mind that HD is upper field first and you may have to tell AE to interpret the clips as upper field first.
Out of AE, render to QT using Avid DNxHD codec, change your field generator settings to upper field first.
Then import into Avid, making sure to tell it is upper field, 601/709.
