Hey guys. Working on a project here, and for the first time….i had to capture my own HD footage. Took me a bit to get it working. But now that ive got it capturing, i have some audio sync problems.

When i play the video files in windows media player….its fine. But in premiere, it starts out in sync, then…over the course of about a 30min clip…the audio gets outta sync by maybe 5-6 seconds. I first suspected a frame rate issue…but capturing it at different frame rates proved it wasn’t the problem. Unless i did it wrong. When i set the project as 24fps….the footage still captured at 30.

Any help would be nice guys. Thanks in advance.

That’s an issue I’ve noticed with certain cameras. Try downloading a copy of HDV Split, import your capture, break the capture into scenes then bring it all back into Premiere.

    That should solve it.
