    Hello,

I captured a HDV via firewire from the JVC HD100U camera via firewire in Adpobe Premeire Pro using the preset from Adobe website. I made a new project and sued the JVC PROHD preset from the Adobe website 25pHDV. I shot on 25p 1280×720 on the JVC camera. I captured form firewire 1hr of tape, however on playback theaudio lags, for instance it plays 12mins fine, then it just duplicates the audio and loops it till the end of the 1hr capture which is very unusual.

Could it be an issue of it was 1 entire capture then something happened to the audio? I am going to try and record via scene detetc in Adbe Premeiere pro 2.0 and see if this fixs the audio problem?

Has anyone else had similar problems? I am capturing to a sata 1 raid 0 4 drive stripe. 250gb Seagate drives.

    Thanks,

    Leo

    Hello,

If I play the video clip i captured back in Microsoft Windows Media PLayer the audio is insync. So I presume it must be when the audio is getting conformed?

I then deleted the cache ad conformed file snd it re-conformed the clip again in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 but I am still getting the problem.

Just seems a strange problem Adobe do not know what is causing it as well. So I am going to try some more tests.

    Thanks,

    Leo

    Hello Leo,

I thought I was the only one with this problem. I too have a JVC PRO HD 100 E Camera (PAL land) and I captured a one hour HDV tape using Premiere Pro 2. Like you it captured the whole hour but after conforming (Indexing) the first section of audio loops every 12 mins. I too downloaded the JVC Pro HD Presets from the Adobe website.
Leo have you had any luck in resolving this problem.?
