    Hi just a basic question, i was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to edit mini dv (standard definition) and Hi Definition footage together in the one timeline/project? editing on premiere pro cs3

    Yes. However, depends what your final product will be. I sometimes use the DVD presets, bring in both DV and HDV footage into it, strinks and pans the HDV footage, and output to DVD.
