HDV and DVCPro HD in Final Cut Pro HD
Can FCP handle both HDV and DVCPro HD content in the same project? In the same timeline? what if one is in 1080i and the other is in 720p?

I would think not. Two compeletely different HD resolutions. You’ll have to convert one to the other…or drop the other one in the timeline and resize and render.
The only way to mix formats is to render one of them, or captur them using the same codecs.
