I’ve edited a 2 minute in HDV 720p24 and I’m trying to export using QuickTime Conversion to .mov and .flv. When its done, (on both files in both high / low res) I get “stutters” or brief jumps in my video in generally, but not always the same spots. When I bring the timeline into 16:9 SD and export from there, it looks smooth. The only issue is that I have a lot of cropped segments of video using “Motion” on my HDV timeline that are now out of position, wrong size, etc.

Can I export out of HDV to .mov and .flv using QuickTime Conversion?

If SD is the answer, is there a way to keep my sequence intact?

    My system is as follows:
    Mac OS X 10.5.5
    2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    FCP 5.1.4
    QuickTime 7.5.5
