  HDV 25p to DVCPRO HD 24

  Hello

  I’m working with DVCPRO HD footage in a 23.98 timeline. I want to incorporate some HDV footage shot on a sony V1 at 25p. I have tried the following workflow and all seems fine… and I can’t quite believe it’s this simple. Can anyone tell me if I’m heading for disaster?

  Digitise using HDV Apple Pro Res 25p

  Conform 25 to 24 (this changes audio sample rate)

  Export from timeline as Quick Time DVCPRO HD 23.98

  Reimport new clips as master clips.

  All plays fine and sounds fine and in sync, sample rate of new clips is 48K.

  Is this all a good idea?
