    Hi

I have been scouring the forums regarding information about my predicament regarding fps and format matching. I have a project with 99% of the material being in:

    Apple ProRes 422
    1440 x 1080
23.98 fps (shot it on my canon HV30 and removed the pulldown)

My boss sent me additional video to include in my project which is unfortunately completely different from the specs of my existing project

    720 X 576
25 fps (shot on DV PAL camera)

Can somebody please suggest a workflow to convert the 25fps PAL video? I am stuck particularly if I should run the new video through Apple ProRes 422 to match up with existing footage (probably unnecessary), recommended frame rate conversion, and more importantly how to properly crop or convert the aspect ratio 4:3 to 3:2 project -is it through geometry settings? Probably do it all in one shot in compressor?

Would appreciate your knowledge and experience on this one as I have been reading through boards and manuals for the past few days trying to put together a solution to no avail.

    Thanks in advance
