HDV 1440x108i50 for SD delivery
Hi guys.
I am working on a marketing DVD that’s been shot on HDV 1440x1080i50 and will be delivered as a SD DVD in the land of PAL.
My approach was to digest the footage and then media manage the it to SD 8-bit uncompressed for grading etc since I haven’t got HD compatible edit suite.
The problem is that after media managing the footage is letterboxed. I have tried both options, to recompress to AJA-25 8-bit and also uncompressed 8-bit, without success.Any work around for this or suggestions for better workflow.?

Media manager it to SD uncompressed anamorphic so the sequence is in 16:9.
