HDTV 1080i 25fps in Premiere
Hi all,
I have a question that no doubt will seem daft to many. I am editing a 4K project in premiere and it has been prepped by the first editor with sequence settings of 1080p 25fps. The tv station here in Germany want a playout HDTV 1080i 25fps. My question is should I change sequence settings to be editing interlaced or can I convert to interlaced when I make the playout – I had a brief look and this doesnt seem possible. As I am working with over 30 hours of footage i would love any advice now rather than having issues on export later. Many thanks to all and any who can advise!

I would edit in 2160p and export to 1080i.
In any case dont change the sequence to interlaced.
