So I’ve been playing around with using HDRI’s to light a scene, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I looked at the tutorial on the Maxon site, did everything…but I can’t seem to get it to light a simple sphere.

My problem is that once I turn off the auto light, the sphere goes dark and the GI and the Visible sphere’s aren’t lighting it…I’ve put a highly reflective texture on the sphere, but it just shows up black…

    Any thoughts?

First, you have to have advanced render. Then you have to turn on global illumination.
