    Hello

I am about to pull the trigger on a home 12-core setup for color correction (color & Davinci) and want to use a Dreamcolor with an Extreme 3d & hdlink 3d or HDP2 but if this is true and a proper adapter does not exist for display port to hdmi 1.4a then Houston we have a problem!

I am curious in comparison to the AJA HDP2 if I am using a Dreamcolor is that hdmi 1.4a or only 1.3? Is there any difference between the 2 converters? Not even sure if the input on a Dreamcolor is 1.4 anyways!

I am familiar with the HDP2 from work but in building my own home setup I am wondering if I can save some money on a HDLINK 3d and get the same results / quality going to my Dreamcolor.

Also curious as to why I wouldn’t just be able to go straight HDMI out of the card into my Dreamcolor – I believe it will be a card spacing issue if I have 2 Nvidea cards for Davinci but I just want to confirm.

    any advice would be great.
    thanks

    sean
