    HDMI monitoring with After Effects on MBP with no Expresscard slot?

    Hello,

    I’m looking to be able to do playback monitoring from after effects from my Macbook pro with an HDMI HDTV. Would either the intensity shuttle or the ultra studio HDMI give me what I want?

    The Shuttle won’t work with a Macbook Pro, but doesn’t you Macbook have a HDMI or VGA you can connect to your HDTV as a second monitor? You can drag your preview window to your second monitor.
