    Hi guys,

I am trying to capture some footage from an GV-HD700 by the HDMI connection on the card, but on the Blackmagic preferences (driver 7.1.2) everytime I set the input to “HDMI Video & HDMI Audio” it doesn’t work, even with a blackmagic codec on Final Cut and, when I come back to the preferences, it is set to “SDI Video and SDI Audio” again.

Did anyone have the same problem? How can it be fixed?

    thanks a lot,

Same issue here… no matter what I set the input to, it always defaults back to sdi. The only work around I have found is to change the setting and then launch FCP (without closing the system preferences). This seems to work 50% of the time. I’ve contacted Blackmagic and will repost if I get an answer.

    Black Magic’s response:

Yes, that was a bug that we discovered after the drivers were released.
Basically it’s a GUI bug where it’s not behaving correctly. Essentially you
can set the setting but the GUI always resets the setting graphically when
you open the panel again. But the setting should still be component etc,
even if the GUI reports otherwise.

It has been fixed and should make it into our next driver release. In the
meantime, if it’s a problem, please roll back to a previous version of the
    drivers in the meantime.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
