Finally got around to getting an HD TV. So when I hooked up the DVI/HDMI hook up, my monitor gave me a mode not supported message with a box saying that it is a 1080i output.

However, when I hook up the DVI from my video card, I get full screen 1080p, So, is it the cable, the adrenaline, or possibly something else?

HDMI outputs PsF and not P as expected by many monitors.

    Thanks for the response, Mike.

So now armed with my newly segemented info, what do I do for monitor output?

Blackmagic Design has converters that will do PsF to P.
