    Hi all,

    I’m currently trying to capture from a Panasonic AVCHD cam through a HDMI capture card into Premiere Pro CS6 – but premiere pro is saying the capture device is offline?

    I know the hardware is installed, as it happily records through it’s accompanying software (StreamCatcher)

    Could a plugin be the answer?

    Let me know if you need any more info.

    Premiere supports capture through Firewire and a few cards like Blackmagic / AJA.

    You’ll likely have to use the software that came with the card. Another way would be using/renting a KIPRO so that you can capture in Prores.
