    Hello All!

Ok.. So I have for the past 6 months been successfully capturing 1920×1080 footage out of my Sony V1U through HDMI into my intensity pro card using the Blackmagic HDTV 1080i 59.50 – Apple Pro Res (HQ) easy set up.. Never a problem and am very happy/proud of the results. BTW I was using the firewire for timecode by setting the camera to iLink Downconversion.. Again.. all was well until…..now

For some reason when I try to capture via HDMI from my camera I get timecode but no picture. So after some trouble shooting I find that my V1U is only outputting 720x480p through it’s HDMI port. I know this because I goto the status check menu on the camera and it displays the following:

    VCR: HDV
    HDMI Output: 720x480p
    Component: 1080i / 480i
    iLink Output: DV
    iLink Conv: On

Like I’ve said I’ve happily captured 1080i from the camera before… Anybody know what happened???? The deadlines for ingesting are starting to loom on the horizon and I have many a tapes to capture. So if anyone could please help that would be great..

    Cheers,

    Matt
