We are preparing new edit suite based on MacPro/FCP/BM HDpro 444 + HDLink + DELL 2407.

As we will mostly work features and some PAL programmes can anyone help how HDLink doing sync with 60Hz LCD for PAL framerates, please? I already have 2407 DELL on my desk working compositing and CC and I am very satisfied with the colors and hope that it can work well with HDlink also.
    Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Alex

Yep – it’ll work for PAL being fed to a 60hz LCD.

We have a Dell 2407 working with PAL video and it’s fine. A Good monitor at SD and HD sizes

    Hi Mark,

Is your 2407 connected via HDLink and no vertical image split (v-sync problem) during playback?

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi,

We have specifically tested the Dell 24″ and 27″ monitors with HDLink and made sure they work fine. HDLink adapts the PAL video to match the 60 Hz frequency of the Dell displays.
