HDLink Pro DVI and horizontal split-screen issue
I’ve got an issue with my HDLink Pro DVI unit that has so far proved a mystery.
If I take an SDI signal from the decklink extreme 3D+ (8.6) card into the HD Link Pro (3.5.1) and take DVI out, the picture is split horizontally. When I connect the decklink straight into the monitor, all is OK.
And it’s only apparent with 50Hz based signals. ie: select HD1080psF25 or HD1080i50 from within Resolve Video Monitoring will cause the issue. Whereas, selecting HD 1080psF23.98 or HD 1080i59.94 all is OK.
It’s a strange one but must a HDLink issue as straight from the decklink is OK. I have also connected different monitors (plasma tv and 2 LCD PC monitors) to the HDLink and all had the same split-screen issue with the 50hz based signals. I also tried all the firmware that is available on the BM website, but no fix. Finally, had the local distributor replace the unit, but with exactly the same issue.
Any help is appreciated.
