I’m new at Premiere (former Vegas user) and I’m just wondering, what’s the best rendering settings for 1080p going to Vimeo/YouTube? I know Adobe has a preset for this but I was wondering if there’s a better way of rendering (higher bit rate, etc?).

Also, I have a film that I’m gonna submit to film festivals so if you could give me some tips on how to render a high quality DVD (720×480) then that would be awesome too!

    Thanks!!

YT Preset works just fine, no need to go higher.

Going to dvd use the mpeg2-dvd preset. You can tweak the bitrate if you like.
