    Greetings all!

I am working on a project that is going to be shot on HDCAM in 24p that will be for web and broadcast. For the broadcast side of things, I am unsure of the best workflow to get to 60i. I am slightly familiar with pulldowns but not sure when this should come into play?

Should I load at 60i? (is that possible?)
OR should I convert after cut is finished? And if that is the case, how to do?

Also, I assume that ProRes 422 HQ is a good resolution to cut in considering I am on a slower drive setup? (and to save space)

We are working with FCP 6.x on an 8 core MacPro.

    Thanks much for any help!

    Good questions:

We are most likely using external esata drive

We have a Kona 3 card for capture.

    Thanks for your help!
