Just got my new HD250 and wow is it great.
I really like my HD100 but the 250 is awesome.
Can’t wait to capture HD-SDI directly to IOHD ProRes.
Anybody else wondering about the quality or tried this out?

    Hello Johnny,

Well, I have to agree, the 250 is indeed a fantastic camera!!! I really noticed the difference between footage shot on my HD-100, and the HD-251.
JVC made very few changes to the cameras electronics, but with software, and firmware upgrades, + the odd electronic tweak you really can see improvements in picture quality.

    All the best

    Dave,
I’ve been using the True Color settings and some of Tim Dashwoods recipies.
    What have you been using?
Always interested in finding out more cool camera recipies all the time.
But what do you find that you use ‘alot’ on the HD250?

    Hello Johnny,

I’ve also been using Tim’s recipes, namely:

    A: Superwide (Which is superb)

    B: DSC CDM28 Calibrated

I’ve also found that the ‘White paint’ function on the 251 is amazing!!

Since Tim released ‘Superwide’ I haven’t used any of his other recipes to any great extent because ‘Superwide’ is that good!!

Well its 6.15am in the UK, and I’ve been script writing all night……better get some sleep.

    All the best

    Dave
