  HD vs SD in Compressing for the Web

  Greetings all,

  As we continue the search for the “holy grail” of good web video, I’m compelled to ask:

  If I shoot original material in HDV and compress for the web, will that footage be appreciably better than if I shot it in standard def and compress for the web?

  Any links that might explain this better, if so?
