Hi all… i am trying to display Final Cut HD timeline to my SD CRT monitor. I use the BM 1080pfs23.98 10 bit RGB setup. I captured the footage from a HDCAM SR in dual link 444. Now i have the clips and when i put into the timeline i dont have output. When stopped the playhead i have a decent frame in correct frame size, when i playback i have full 1080 hd displayed on my small crt so i look at 1/4 of the original frame. In color i can look at the correct size but i have very poor quality.

what is the difference in the setups, i mean should i put BM NTSC 8 bit inside final cut viewing options, or i put BM HD there and a downconversion letterbox in the DECKLINK setup pref panel.

Also if the downcoversion isn’t done in hardware, how can i use this in a standalone mode?

    thanks in advance
