HD PVR Questoin
So i record my xbox 360 play with my HD PVR Happuage… and in order for me to upload to Sony Vegas i need to convert the format from .ts to .wmv… And thats fine… but for some reason when i convert it from .ts to .wmv some Vidoes (Not All of them) Doesnt all convert correctly… meaning when i look at the WMV format it doesnt have everything that i recorded in the .ts format… I tried converting to other formats but still same problem all the videos that have this problem get cut off at the same point… Any ideas on how i can fix this??? the Original .ts file still has all the footage so idk whats wrong

Actually, it’s not. WMV is one of the WORST formats that you can edit with in Vegas. I would convert from .TS to .AVI using the DV (if the recording is SD) or M-JPEG (if it’s HD) codec. These will edit much, much easier.
