HD project with Vegas and Premiere
Working on a project with HD files from 2 cams (XDCAM-EX and JVC-HD110); the final edition process has to be made in a studio with Premiere (please, don´t ask me why..) and the HD-clips (720-30p) from the JVC are already ingested and preedited on that system.
I work with Vegas 9pro and I’m going to work with the XDCAM-EX part (preedition, color grading, etc.), so what will be the best way to give the edited XDCAM-EX clips (720-30p, some 720-60p AND some 1080-30p) in order to finish the project in Premiere ?
Will it be OK if I make renders to HDV 720-30p so they can work with these clips (let’s say, same native format from the JVC) ??
Being HDV an mpeg format, do we have the risk of quality degradation with every render steps ??… any advice from the experts would be greatly apreciated….
