    Hi All,

I’m running decklink V4.8 on 10.3.6, G5 2x2GHz with 1.5 Gig of Ram, Xraid and a Panasonic AJ_HD130 Deck. For some weird reason all the footage that I capture plays at double speed, my setting are the easy setup for HDTV 720 59.94Hz 8 bit across the border and when capture on the capture window and on my monitor the footage plays fine, as soon as I put the footage on the timeline it plays at double speed. What am I doing wrong ?. I got a work around that if I capture using the 60Hz easy setup and playback at 59.94hz I got the footage to play in real time.
    Very odd.
    Please I need H E L P…!!!.

    Thanks,

    Manuel Gonzalez

    Hello Manuel,

You might want to downgrade your declink driver to 4.6.

Search Post type in ‘double speed”

Here is one of those thread:

It sounds like you may have shot a different frame rate and the DeckLink is removing the flagged frames.

You could revert to a pre varicam support drivers which would ignore the flagged frames.

Have you checked that there is movement on every frame and that it’s not 29.97p within 59.94p with every other frame repeated.
