    Hellos!

I am working with an editor who is under the impression that we will be able to capture, edit and color correct, a HD 30 minute film in Premiere Pro 1.5 with the new HD plug in, in real time. It is headed straight to film transfer, no online.

What do you think? Is this realistic?

And, I have a question or two about the new Premiere HD Plug In.

With this new plug-in, will we able to edit in HDV, in real time on a PC without a HD video card? And Without rendering?

And should the Cameraperson be aware of any settings(Advanced Pulldown) If we intend to work in a 24p timeline?

And if it is shot using Advanced Pulldown, does Premiere do a easy setup like FCP-HD with reverse telecine?

Or, do we have to use Cinetools to do the pulldown anyway?

And, What is Reverse Telecine anyway? (saw it referenced on a search)

I’m new to this 24p stuff. Just been in the 29.98 Betacam world forever!

Thank you so much! I would really like to see this done in Premiere!
