    Hey Cows,

I’m trying to author a DVD through DVD Studio Pro. Canon 5d 24f footage brought through Compressor on DVD 90 min best quality settings.

Now I have all these m2v ac3 files in DSP. Tried the advanced burn/format/build and it’s not working on any of my older DVD players or PS3.

Everything is now at 720i, before the menu was the only thing at 1920i.

What’s your standard way to get this to play on a DVD player?

    Thanks,

    Adam Reichardt

First, there is no such thing as 720i, 720 is always progressive.

HD DVD is dead, it will only play in Macs. You need to author SD DVD. Or use something else to author BluRay if you want HD material.

There are a ton of threads on both subjects.
