    Help Douglas,

I’d like to make some HD slideshows to play on a PS3.
What size should should the pics be to be able to Pan/Crop?
    I’m using Vegas 8 Pro.

Can you tell me where I messed up please?

1-Put a regular DVD 5/9 in your standard DVD burner.
2-Edit your project in Vegas using template HD 1080-60i
    3-Tools | Burn Disc | Blu-ray disc 1920 x 1080-60i
4-It creates an image file but does not burn to DVD
5-Use Nero to burn iso file to a Data DVD5
    6-DVD not recognized by PS3
    7-Ask for help

I haven’t tried using DVD Architect yet til I check with you.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chuck

    Update:

The disc also failed to play in a Panasonic DMP-BD30 at Best Buy.

Can anyone tell me their exact steps to making a DVD5 play HD files?

    Thanks,
    Chuck

    HD or HDV project properties
    Edit project
    Tools | Burn Disc | Blu-ray disc
Choose the Sony AVCHD template for 1440 x 1080.
Select Render and Burn at top of dialog
    Hit “OK”

    That’s it.
We don’t have a Panasonic BD player, but do have both Sony and Samsung players, discs play correctly in those. If the Panny doesn’t have updated firmware, it won’t play…

Is there a setting I need to change so I will be able to check the option “Render image and burn”?

The “Render image only” is the only option I can check.

    I’m using a Lite-on LH-20A1S SATA internal DVD burner.

I put the blank DVD in the player before I even open Vegas 8.

    Thanks,
    Chuck
