    HD not working in AE7!!

    I have a load of footage in full HD dvcPRO50i codec. I have a Mac and just got AE7. I can watch my footage in quicktime fine. When i import it into AE7 the colours go crazy – green striping everywhere. I got Ae7 because 6 wasnt working with HD and i was assured by a collegue that 7 works fine with HD.

    I am confused as to why quicktime plays them fine yet Ae7 cant cope. even the mini preview in the project box looks fine – as soon as i bring them into a comp it gets confused and distorts them.

    any ideas?

    Check you comp settings.
    Drag cliip on the make comp icon at bottom of project and see if you have the same problem.

    same problem.

    have been trying lots of things. still no joy.

    does anyone work with this HDcoded – DVCPRO HD 1080i50?
