    On the timeline I have a 1080i 29.97 fp/s NTSC video in .m2t format

    Sony Vegas Video 7
    Dell Dual Core XPS
    2 GB Ram.

I can encode just fine but would like to create a master for future editing.

What rendering setting should I use for minimal loss? What format should the master be in?

I have edited the movie in the trimmer then outputting subclips to the timeline. If I save the whole project does it save the subclips? My pc seems to be running low on virtual memory so I need to reboot. I don’t want to lose those edited subclips.

    thanks.
