We’re having an annoying problem with our Blackmagic HD Link. It used to work fine but now it gives a strange flickering (sync problem?) on our 23 inch Apple Cinema Display during playback and pause:

It looks like the problem gets worse when our HD Link heats up after some time (which is fine according to the Blackmagic FAQ), but we’re not sure.

We checked our cables and SDI connections and they are fine. OS X Leopard and the HD Link software are up to date. What is going on?

    Hi Hans

I would recommend you contact me at the EMEA support office, as it may be that you need a repair/replacement on your HDLink.

    support-emea@blackmagic-design.com

If you please provide the above details, as well as the serial number of your HDLink unit and what video standards you are using with the HDLink (PAL, HD1080i50 etc), this will greatly assist the support team in identifying and solving your problem.

I hope to hear from you soon.
