My vendor say they can’t live together. I don’t see why they wouldn’t. I want the HD Link for monitoring on our Plasma HD and they’re trying to sell me the AJA HDP. Anyone have a definitive answer?

    Many Thanks.

He’s lying to you. The HDLink can take in any valid HD-SDI signal. It doesn’t matter if it comes from a deck, a camera, an AJA board, or a Blackmagic board. Your vendor probably wants to sell you the more expensive unit because it makes him more money. I’d find a new vendor. Also, the HDLink will support DVI AND HDMI monitors. The AJA will only support DVI.
