    Hi there.

I wondered if anyone was using HD footage for their dv productions. The reason I’m wondering is because I’ve been speculating that you could have a huge amount of options when it comes to pan/zoom if you’re outputting to dv. You’d be able to frame to about four different locations without moving the camera… Anyone take advantage of this?

Yes,I demonstrate this with some footage of a Lacrosse game in The Vegas 6 Companion and the Vegas 6 Primer DVDs.

It is a big advantage with Pan/Crop — especially when you need to cut something out of a scene but don’t want a “jump” in the event.
