  • HD film to NTSC 48KHZ Anamorphic?

Posted by Louis Waters on February 18, 2016 at 3:40 pm

Hi I was told I need to convert my HD film to NTSC 48KHZ Anamorphic in Avid. How do I do this?

I think I might have to either open an NTSC 30i project or open it in a 1080p 29.976 instead.

Could someone run me through the steps?

    Thanks in advance.

    Create a new project…30i NTSC…aspect Ratio 16:9.

AMA link to your file, and then transcode. OR…if you are talking about a sequence, copy the bin containing that sequence to the new project, and open.

Thanks! I’ve transcoded the sequence but when exporting should I use “Same as source” or use a custom width and height?

    Same as source, I’d think.
