HD Expo P2 Workshop – Worthwhile Experience?
Hi,
I’m considering going to Burbank for the HD Expo P2 Workflow Workshop. Has anyone out there ever been to HD Expo?
I’m an Avid editor for a small shop with big clients, constantly going back to past projects for revisions, b-roll, etc. We’ve recently switched to HPX-500’s and P2 workflow – Gotta tell ya, we’re running into some major workflow/storage/archiving problems that we never dreamed of with tape.
Any feedback on expo experiences of the past would be great, particularly regarding the usefulness of workshops.

Its a shame that they can put this on DVD or stream it. Seems like a good policy to get people into understanding the ups and downs of the P2 work flow.
Maybe a DVD has already been made? -
Noah has a DVD dedicated to HVX/FCP workflow, and our HVX BootCamp Vol. II discusses P2 post in all the major NLE’s (www.hvxtraining.com)
