I’m new to hd editing, I have unwrapped mxf files from an external hard drive using import from p2, I set easy setup to dvcpro hd 720p60 as the same settings given in the footage properties. when I drop the clip into the sequence it shows it needs to be rendered and re-rendered each time it is moved above another clip, It also seems to lose a lot of quality and becomes interlaced when entered into the sequence. please help

OK… after you change the Easy Setup, you have to delete Sequence 1, as it will have the previous settings. make a new sequence and try that. If that doesn’t work, try 720p24.

You might be dropping it into a DV sequence. In the timeline typle APPLE-0 to see the sequence settings.
